Hooray! Henry has a small amount of pee today. They still would like more, but some is better than none. And sorry, Henry, you can hate me when you get older for announcing to the world about the amount/frequency of your urination :)
More updates from today: the heart is still beating very quickly (over 200 beats/minute). The doctors are now thinking that there is a thyroid condition that is causing the blood pressure and heart rate problems. While we hate to hear of any more organ involvement, there is a possibility that this could be a good thing...if they are able to control the thyroid, they may also be able to control some of the other problems. So, that is the focus of today. That heart rate needs to slow down.
Also, sleeping is just not happening for David and Dana. Between less than optimal sleeping conditions at the hospital and their concern for Henry, falling asleep for any length of time just proving to be difficult. Of course, they need sleep to maintain any kind of calm, strength, good health that is going to be necessary to get through this. So, prayers for sleep today too please.
Hoping this weekend brings some good news....
